Frequently Asked Question

No, if we are installing vinyl siding, we will go over your existing siding and you will never have to paint again.

If we are installing James Hardie® siding, we will remove your existing siding on your home and replace it with James Hardie® and you’ll most likely never paint again.

That is the great thing about our product. Not only can we wrap your home in new long-lasting siding but we can also take care of your soffits and eaves, making the exterior of your home virtually maintenance free.

Sometimes we hear from our customers that there are too many color options to choose from. Don’t worry, our field representatives will have plenty of samples to help you choose the right colors for your home.

When siding was introduced in the 1950s, it had these types of issues. Ongoing changes in the product’s chemistry and installation techniques have improved its performance and furthered its acceptance by homeowners.

Contrary to what many people expect, vinyl is actually less likely than wood to trap moisture, and the product has been designed to allow moisture to be drawn from the home and expelled through the bottom of the siding panel.

To keep vinyl siding looking its best, it should be washed periodically to remove the mold, mildew, dirt, and chalky oxidation that collects on the surface.

Repairing a damaged panel is simple. With a zip tool and a flick of the wrist, it simply unhooks from the ones above and below, then you can pull out the nails. A new panel can then be snapped in place, nailed, and rehooked.

New insulated siding can add another R2 to R4 to your home. I always say that new siding is like “wrapping a warm blanket around your home,” and you will no longer have to worry about all those drafts coming through your existing walls.

Today’s vinyl siding products can mimic wood, insulate your home, and even stand up to tornado-force winds, making them a highly desirable exterior cladding option.

Not only is new siding energy efficient and available in many different colors, it also reflects radiant heat and reduces thermal conductivity to help keep your house cool. The siding also reduces noise by up to 45 percent – perfect for blocking your neighbor’s garage band.
